The award winning National Wildflower Centre is an independent conservation charity founded by Liverpool based environmental charity Landlife.
Set in the tranquil Victorian Court Hey park in the borough of Knowsley, the ‘Wildflower Borough’ and only 5 miles from Liverpool City Centre, the National Wildflower Centre is a beautiful visitor attraction and conference venue with nature at it’s heart.
Visitors can enjoy seasonal wildflower displays, view demonstration areas, take time to admire the mix of old and award-winning new buildings, or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. Enjoy delicious freshly prepared local fare in the Cornflower Café – homemade soups and cakes are a specialty. A gift shop offers a wide range of gifts from pocket money prices upwards. We also sell our own seeds and plants grown on site.
Events and activities are held throughout the year.
The National Wildflower Centre is the natural alternative for conferences and meetings. Booking a room here helps us to continue our work – creative conservation.
